Penne with brusselsprouts and chorizo, never thought this combination would be a winner! I’ve read this recipe in @jamieoliver magazine. Well, I love it. Very quick, simple and different! Off course I combined the two things I love, food & music. Together with this recipe I’ve chosen a lovely remix @studioheist on King Street Sounds ‘Nite grooves”. What a bassline and groove! Ingredients (4 persons):
350 gr penne (pasta)
200 gr brusselsprouts (purple/green)
4 little chopped chorizosausages
4 chopped garlic cloves
1 hand full parsley
lemon zest
40 gr roasted almonds
parmeziano
olive oil
Cook the penne just like the instructions on the packing. Clean the sprouts and blanch for 3 minutes, then cut in halves. Put some olive oil in the pan and add the chorizo. After 1 minute add the garlic and bake for another minute. Then bake for 1-2 minutes the sprouts along. Drain the penne and mix together with the parsley and lemon zest. Finishing touch ‘parmegiano’. Buon Appetito!
